For hundreds of years, gemstones from Idar-Oberstein have been processed into precious pieces of jewelry, or as artisan objects, they have found worldwide fans.
After many professional stays and trips in Germany and abroad, I was increasingly drawn back to my home in Idar-Oberstein. Where I grew up, took my first professional steps in the gem industry and met many old friends. From the feeling of home came the seemingly simple idea of reinterpreting gemstones for the "Home & Living" area at the end of the 2000s.
Today Heima®t products combine traditional craftsmanship with timeless design and modern functionality. This is how exclusive gemstones and selected woods become unique and handcrafted modern home accessories for everyday use.

About Heima®t
When we founded Heima®t in 2019, we had many years full of creative ideas, prototype development and the search for production options. One sentence that shaped us at this time was "An idea is nothing without the head from which it comes and the heart that gives it strength." And so we only pursued ideas that express our roots and value people, who have mastered their craft. The home of the two founders, Idar-Oberstein and Heidelberg, is as down-to-earth and open-minded as the nature and forests in which they are embedded. It is therefore love for our own homeland that we bring to our products with passion.
